Arrived 10.30 to find two surfers out and not much wind. Rigged 5.7 hoping it would fill in and was pleasantly surprised to find I was nicely powered, cross-on and a bit of swell. Had a good hour then came in to warm up. Went back out and could not get off the beach - the wind had died off and swung more on-shore. It came back a bit, but pretty marginal - glad we had the first hour. Looking forward to some warmer weather and some sunshine.
